Alex Flanagan

Alex Flanagan has been a television sports journalist for over 30 years. She is now an agent, head of media talent at Familie and a specialist in media education. She draws on her experiences of working in the field of top sports TV to aid people navigate the media and career in media. Alex Flanagan was born 23rd September 1973, Arizona Arizona United States. She was a featured reporter in The Keith Olbermann Evening News. Flanagan was a reporter with ESPN between 2000 and 2006. She reported for five years on college football's sidelines for ESPN. She was a reporter on the sidelines of the College World Series and Women's Tennis Association's championships. Flanagan was also a SportsCenter reporter that covered the Lakers Dodgers Angels UCLA USC, and Chargers. She reported on the NCAA Men's Basketball championship, college football bowls games as well as spring training games for the NBA. Her time with ESPN has included launching the first SportsCenter segment that focuses on entertainment, dubbed Hollywood Highlights. Additionally, she was the co-host and host of both Home Depot College Football Awards and ESPN Classic roadshows.
