In 2017 Puerto Rican singer Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee released Despacito and it topped the charts for most streamed songs at the time within six months. The combination of reggaeton and pop music has not only brought interest back to the genre, but also to Latin music in general. Billboard's Top 100 included four mostly Spanish songs in 2016, and two songs in 2015. Despacito's popularity Despacito was at its highest in the year 2017. In 2020 there will be 41 primarily Spanish songs will make the Top 100.
