April Ross

April Ross has won more than one Olympic medal. She is one of only a handful of women beach volleyball athletes that have done so. Alix klineman, who is taking part for the very first time at the Tokyo Olympics, will try to earn her third Olympic medal. Ross's dream is to earn her first Olympic Gold. As she turns 39, it could be her final opportunity to claim the Olympic gold. But she's convinced that winning the gold medal is in reach. Ross, via NBC Boston, said that when the team performs very well, or even at all, it could be able to win gold. Then I will also take some luck. Ross was born in California in Costa Mesa, California in 1982. She grew up in Costa Mesa along with her parents and sibling. She was able to participate in numerous activities in Newport Harbor High School. Being a pre-athlete she was also a participant in indoor volleyball and track. She was definitely superior to the rest in the latter sport. In her own biography in high school, she was a volleyball player as an outside setter (middle blocker) as well as a setting (outside blocker). The results of her efforts were acknowledged in 1999 when she was named Gatorade's Circle Of Champions National Players of the Year. She also was awarded an Orange County Athlete of the year award for volleyball. Ross and Klineman have been doing what they do since 2017. The reality is that Ross played a significant role in the beach volleyball scene before the pairing. She has won major tournaments twice with different partners. The other is an icon in the volleyball world. From 2007 until 2013 she played with Jennifer Kessy, who is the coach she is currently. Kessy and Ross were an impressive force on the international circuit, winning the 2009 World Championship together. They took home a Silver medal at the 2012 Olympic Games held in London. Misty May Treanor and Kerri Jennings the legendary team that was the winners of the 2012 Olympics in London, edged each other to take home the gold medal. Ross Walsh was Walsh Jennings new partner after May-Treanor's retirement. The pair were awarded bronze medals at the Rio Olympics for beach volleyball. Ross played for the Trojans at USC during her the college years following her graduation from high school. Her time at USC was an impressive one. When she was a freshman at the school in 2000 she earned Pac-10 as well as NCAA The Freshman of the Year awards and was an All-American. The Trojans could also make it to the Final Four with her help. In her sophomore year, she experienced a devastating personal loss but still managed to make it back as an All-American. Over the course of her final two seasons with the Trojans she was instrumental in helping them to win two consecutive titles. In 2003-04, Ross was named as the most successful female volleyball player on the collegiate scene in America according to The Honda Sports Award. Ross was a USC international relations student, was a renowned volleyball player. Margie Ross, Ross' mother, was never given the privilege of watching her daughter grow into a beach volleyball superstar. Ross's mother passed away from cancer of the breast in the year 2001. Ross had just become an undergraduate student in the second year at USC. Ross holds her mother very dearly. Margie is a constant source of inspiration to her, both on and off the beach.
