Anna Paquin (born Winnipeg, was raised in Wellington) is the name of a Canadian actor from Canada. Paquin who was born in Wellington but born and raised in Winnipeg was first seen in the acting world on screen in The Piano. At age 11, she became the youngest Academy Award winner ever for Best Actress. Anna Paquin's full name is Anna Helene Paquin. Born on the 24th of July, 1982 in Winnipeg Manitoba Canada, she was a Canadian born New Zealand actress. As as a young girl, she was awarded the Academy Award for best support actress. Her role as the talkative and inquisitive character Holly Hunter played in The Piano (1993) brought her the prize. The actress played teens in the films of Hurlyburly (1998), She's All That (2000), A Walk on the Moon (2000) and portrayed the polexia Aphrodisa girl as part of Almost Famous (2000).
